Software Engineer

Onshore Technology delivers service from its Rural Technology Center in Macon, Missouri.

Positions: Onshore is currently hiring technical team leads to manage a small team of developers (teams of 6) at our Rural Technology Center in Macon, Missouri.

Responsibilities:  A team lead is primarily responsible for designing customer solutions and then delivering them according to client expectations. In this case, the team lead will also be responsible for mentoring new recruits and shepherding them through their internship period at Onshore. In this capacity, the team lead must participate in the screening, hiring, training, and mentoring of new-entry level programmers. The team lead will then manage the team that he helped to train in order to provide services to clients.  Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Planning network infrastructure in RTC

·         Serve as an escalation point for tech issues

·         Presentations to clients, internal team members, and partners

·         Responding to RFPs from potential clients

·         Providing development estimates

Technical Qualifications:

·         3+ years experience with ASP, SQL-Server, C#, and .NET. Individuals with 7 or more years of experience are also desired. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

·         Strong hands-on experience with several of the following technologies: C#, .NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, XML, XSLT, SQL, Javascript, C, C++, HTML, IIS, MS SQL Server
